Περίληψη
Grounding and truth-making have become central concepts in contemporary metaphysics. Many of the metaphysicians who work on the so-called grounding relation are held to be “Neo-Aristotelians”. Quite regularly, the notion of grounding is introduced by reference to Plato’s Euthyphro, it is less clear though whether there are commonly identified examples of “grounding” in Aristotle. The talk gives a survey on the recent discussion about different sources for metaphysical grounding in Aristotle.
